Evans Publishing. 6” X 9”, Impressed hard bound with nice gilt impressions 153 pages. Here is a history of the United States Mint and the methods of coinage, as well as assaying of gold and silver. Also covered are coins through history. Interestingly a list of rare U.S. coins, with a price guide, is in the closing pages; a U.S. 1794 Silver Dollar was worth $20.00in 1890! This book was printed in Philidelphia, and the last several pages are advertisements for local stores. In very good conditon with a tight binding. Very light handling wear. there are 4-5 light stains on the rear cover. This book would be a great addition to a collection of U.S. coins. Price: $65.00 (ref B-798)
