German WW2 Propaganda Card, used against French Soldiers. 4 1/16” wide x 6 1/8” tall, light postcard stock. These rare watermarked cards are often overlooked by collectors since they appear to be a plain, mostly-blank postcard. The scene printed on the card shows a French soldier holding a picture of his gal back home, amid the ruins of battle. Holding them to the sun will reveal the watermarked artwork, which answers the question; “Ou le Tommy est-il reste?” (“Where is the Tommy Staying?”). This is a very scarce erotic example showing a naked French girl in bed embracing a British soldier as he un-dresses. This example is clean with a few handling marks as shown.
