Homing Pigeon Loft Registration Certificate- 8 ¾” wide x 6 ¾” tall frame. This certificate acknowledges pigeons to be volunteered to Signal Corps use. It was issued by “The Congress of American Pigeon Fanciers” acknowledging a pigeon owner, “Steve J. Zawacki” has volunteered the HOMING PIGEONS in his loft to the use of the SIGNAL CORPS of the U.S. ARMY. Dated 1 August 1941. It has a red seal embossed; “THE CONGRESS OF AMERICAN PIGEON FANCIERS” applied to the left lower corner. The certificate appears to be complete, however the two edges are covered by the frame.
