U.S. WW1 Nurse Corp Nurse's Letter Home on American YMCA Stationary

$25.00

WW1 American Y.M.C.A. Envelope and Stationary. This is a nice three page letter from an Army Nurse on her way to France aboard a transport ship. Great content in pencil, about the trip to France aboard ship, the rivalry between the Navy Officer’s and the Army Officer’s vying for her attention, etc. The stationary is identified to the “American Y.M.C.A. on active service with the U.S. Naval Forces operating in the European Waters”. She notes the time and date; Nov. 30, 1918, mailed once she got to Brest, France! The envelope is brittle, but sound with a few tears, The letter pages are bright and in a readable hand and are in very good condition considering their age. This personal letter, logo’d stationary and censor marked envelope are just neat! Price: $25.00 (ref. B-742)
