Fairchild Aircraft Patch- circa 1950-60's, w/ Vietnam War vintage helicopter stickers. The patch is 6 1/2” wide x 5 5/16” tall. FAIRCHILD Aircraft’s company logo; a red winged steed, Pegasus, and “FAIRCHILD” on a sateen fabric. It is bound at the edges to a stiff cotton back cloth. It is in un-used condition. Fairchild is a well known aviation company but developed the future M-16 Rifle by forming “ArmaLite, a FAIRCHILD Subsidiary”, in October 1954, and hiring Eugene Stoner as ArmaLite’s engineer. This patch is from the 1950-60’s. The stickers came with the patch, and are marked “SAV FORM 1223, 1 Jun 1967” and show the Hiller OH-23 RAVEN, a Vietnam War vintage helicopter. One each; 5” and 3” wide. The graphics on this patch are terrific! It has classic “Modern Golden Years” design! Price: $45.00 (ref B-806)
