British Battledress Blouse w Paratrooper & Corporal rank insignia. Pattern of 1949. British O.D. Wool, with partial cotton lining having two interior pockets. 5 plastic button closure with hidden button front. There are two pleated patch pockets on the chest, and button cuffs. The two “Parachute”, the single paratrooper wings, the two Pegasus patches and the corporal stripes (two single V’s on each arm) are all machine sown. The left interior pocket has a sewn-in label noting; “BATTLEDRESS BLOUSE, SIZE !3, Height 5’ 11” to 6’ 0”, Brest 38” to 39”, Waist 33” to 34”, Denham (1933) Ltd, 1954, Broad Arrow logo” with ink stamp inspector’s mark and “13”.
