French ARMY “Colonial” Red Paratrooper BERET w/ “Colonial” Para Badge. Nice label, with maker’s info and size, 54, and dated 1964. The semi hollow badge is held with a pin device typical of the 1960’s period. The moderately heavy red felted wool body has some moth nips mostly around the two vent holes opposite the badge, these are not noticeable when the brim is pulled towards that side. There is light wear from use to the leather headband. The beret has a black herring bone ribbon tie. A nice 60’s period French Para beret. Price: $120.00 (ref. C-269d)
