Portuguese Army Commando Officers Beret in Wool Felt Camo
Portuguese Army Commando Officers Beret in Wool Felt Camo. The badge is enameled red, white and green and is worn by officers. It is held to the beret by a small threaded post and nut, inside that area has a soft leather backer. It is a solid construction and of nice quality. The beret is a medium weight wool felt of light green color. The brown/red and the forest green colors have been screened on. There is a moth nip into the forest green to the left of the badge, but is not distracting, it is visable in photos. The top of the beret interior is lined with brown sateen fabric and there is a sweat panel on the interior top with a makers label sewn underneath; “CASA BUTTULLER LISBON”. The dark gray leather head band has light wear to it’s edges. At it’s rear there are two tie ribbons, green and red. I believe this beret is pre-1980. It is interesting in this camo pattern and could be from the Colonial Wars Price: $135.00 (C-269L)
