U.S. ARMY Ranger Hat with "RANGER EYES" 1980's O.D. Cotton with a hand stitched RANGER tab and a metal “Staff Sargent” rank insignia added. This has had it’s prong mounting pins bent off flat against the hat body, typical of owner applied special forces insignia of the Vietnam period. The rear of the hat has two reflector rectangles affixed by stitching each at six points on each flash. These are known as “RANGER EYES”, visible to the soldier following the wearer. The hat is “salty”; well worn with fraying on the brim. The issue label has been removed. Price: $50.00 (ref. C-269)
