U.S. Navy WW2 MARK 2 Knife- blade marked, by Camillus

$275.00

U.S. Navy WW2 MARK 2 Knife- blade marked, by Camillus. Very good plus condition with plastic scabbard. The right blade riccaso is marked; “CAMILLUS N.Y.”, and the left; “U. S. N. MARK 2”. The leather stacked washer handle is slightly darkened and is in very good plus condition. The dark black parkerized finish on the blade is near excellent with wear on the highlight edges. The blade and false blade have their original factory edge. The pommel side has some old pitting on it’s left side, and the pommel buttshows some parkerizing loss as shown. The scabbard is the plastic body type, and has the owner’s name in two places. “SCMiller” is inked on the reverse side of the body, and his initials “SCM” are inked on the reverse side of the web belt loop. The belt loop has a darkened stain as shown, visible mostly at the lower rear of the belt loop. There is a material stain on the reverse of the scabbard body to to the left of the owner’s initials. This possibly could be removed. I have left it alone and leave it to the new owner. This is a very collectable example. Price: $275.00 (ref. C-330)
