Berlin International Air Show Medalian 1928. Bronze, 89 m.m. ( ~3 1/2” ) diameter. Weight 156.1 dwt. (250.3 g). The Berlin International Air Show was held at Templehof Airport, which had just been completed the previous year. The show logo airplane with “ILA BERLIN 1928” imposed over a earth globe in a great graphic style of the day. The reverse is marked; “INTERNATIONALE LUFTFAHRT AUSSTELLUNG BERLIN 1928”. This medal has been on a desk for many years, and shows it’s age with a very nice finish. There are a few patina spots on the reverse, as shown in the images.
