Tiny Sheffield Folding Knife- early to mid 19th century Sheffield, England.
Tiny Sheffield Folding Knife- early to mid 19th century Sheffield, England.
$375.00
Tiny Folding Knife- early to mid 19th century, likely Sheffield, England. Steel with bone handles, 5/8” long closed and a bit over 1” long with the blade opened. Sheffield was a center of steel production in England and this knife was a novelty made by a knife tradesman in the first half of the 1800’s. The steel blade has darkened over the years and has the usual finger nail groove cut into it. Each of the two bone handle scales are held to the knife body with three pin rivets. This marvel opens and closes just like it’s big brothers. These tiny pen knives are scarce. Price: $375.00 (ref. A-19a)
